Merrill Jerome Fischer (1904 - September 16, 1938) was born in Tyler County, West Virginia to Edwin Fischer and Kate Joseph. Fischer practiced law in Tulsa, Oklahoma after graduating from the University of Kentucky. He served one term as Tulsa county judge but died during his campaign for a second term.
