“Babe” went to the war and came back with a commission. Now he has hung around the Law College and got another commission. “Peace hath its victories,” etc. He is said to be a lady-killer.

Earl Schmuck Winter (July 27, 1897 - February 10, 1955) was born in Owensboro, Kentucky to Benjamin Winter and Margaret Schmuck. Winter attended the University of Louisville before attending and graduating from the University of Kentucky. He practiced law in Owensboro and served as Owensboro city attorney for 12 years. He was a veteran of both World Wars and twice served as the commander of Owensboro's American Legion post.
