Otto Colton Gartin*, LL.B.
Otto Colton Gartin, Sr. (October 22, 1891 - January 18, 1960) was born in Lawrence County, Kentucky to John Gartin and Elizabeth Moore. Gartin practiced law in Ashland, Kentucky. He served in the Kentucky General Assembly House of Representatives representing the 89th district between 1922 and 1927. In 1927, he transitioned to the Kentucky Senate and served two terms as a senator representing the 35th district. He married Elizabeth Emma Patton.
*Mr. Gartin is not listed in the 1920 edition of The Kentuckian.
