Roscoe Conklin Back (June 20, 1895 - May 26, 1959) was born in Breathitt County, Kentucky to William Davis Back and Ester Turner. Back practiced law in Jackson, Kentucky. He served two terms as the County attorney and a term as the Circuit Court clerk. Back also served as bank examiner for the Commonwealth of Kentucky. He married Maud Herald in 1919.
