Sewell Stanley Combs*, LL.B.

Sewell Stanley Combs (January 29, 1884 - June 10, 1934) was born in Campton, Kentucky to Wesley Combs and Clarinda Hurt. Combs moved to Casper, Wyoming after receiving his LL.B. to aid his recovery from tuberculosis. He worked as an attorney there in the firm of Sennett & Combs. He also served as Assistant County Attorney. Combs married twice--his wives were Eolan Bard (m. 1918, d. 1924) and Hazel Banion (m. 1924). Hazel Combs was arrested for S. S. Combs' murder in 1934.
