John William McDonald*, LL.B.
John William McDonald (March 22, 1890 - January 7, 1960) was born in Mayfield, Kentucky to Charles Angus McDonald and Fannie Boyd. McDonald had a long career as an attorney in Mayfield. He was senior partner in the law firm of McDonald and Boaz. He also served as a police judge. McDonald served as a senator in the Kentucky General Assembly between 1935 and 1939. McDonald married Sophie Thorpe.
*Mr. McDonald is not listed in the 1916 edition of The Kentuckian.
