Tarlton Combs Carroll, LL.B.
Tarlton Combs Carroll* (May 14, 1889 - January 23, 1978) was born in Shepherdsville, Kentucky to Charles Carroll and Ida B. Troutman. Caroll first practiced law at the Louisville firm of Carroll & Carroll. He later practiced in Bullitt County and was, at one time, the county attorney. Carroll served as a senator in the Kentucky General Assembly between 1941 and 1945. He served as Democratic Majority Leader in his last term. Carroll also served as a special Circuit Court judge. He married Irene Crutcher.
