Linzy Otto Thompson*, LL.B.

Linzy Otto Thompson (February 23, 1883 - July 24, 1962) was born in Lawrence County, Kentucky to James Franklin Thompson and Amanda Watson. Thompson graduated from the Western Kentucky State Teachers College in 1907. He then worked as a school teacher before attending the College of Law. He and his brother Grover practiced law together in Lexington as the firm of Thompson and Thompson. During World War I, Thompson worked as an agent for the United States Department of Justice. He married Lola Gray.

*Linzy Otto Thompson is listed as sophomore in the 1910 volume of The Kentuckian. However, he is listed in the Board of Trustees minutes as receiving an LL.B. in 1910.
