Charles Emery Baldwin (August 5, 1885 - May 5, 1950) was born in Emerald, Ohio to Frederick Baldwin and Cornelia Bayliss. Baldwin attended Ohio Northern University and Valparaiso University before attending the University of Kentucky College of Law. After receiving his LL.B. in 1910, Baldwin worked as an attorney in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the firm of Baldwin & Spradling with fellow class of 1910 alum Marvin Spradling. Baldwin married Nellie F. Bullette on March 24, 1918 in Muskogee, Oklahoma.
