Oswald Design First Place: Falmouth
Abstract
In July 2011, city officials from Falmouth approached the project leader with the idea of developing a series of guidelines for future development of their city. In November 2011, a contract was signed outlining the project scope and deliverables. In May 2012, a final presentation was given representing all the work completed throughout the semester that would serve as a foundation for the next step of the project. Building upon the visionary portion of the project, we developed a set of design guidelines for Falmouth. The book represents our efforts and contains a series of guidelines for commercial, single- and multi-family residential, and industrial development, that will help to shape future development.
