Description
Economically optimal annual fertiliser phosphorus Prates for maintaining permanent pastures are calculated from a long-term maintenance response curve along with fertiliser price and pasture value. Parameters of the response curve are derived from nutrient balance considerations. The system provides a logical basis for maintenance P fertiliser policies, and results are in accord with limited experimental data.
