Description
Napier grass (Pennisetum purpureum) is a tall and C4 grass. 11 produces the highest dry matter yield among grasses. Tt is one of the two major species grown as forage crops in Taiwan. Several new lines of napier grasses have been selected to grow in Taiwan recently. In order to understand how to manage the new lines of napier grasses, we conducted a three-year experiment to determine effects of cutting height on forage quality and dry matter production of napier grasses.
