Description

In a pot experiment with a hydromorph grassland soil enriched with organic matter containing tagged N and sown with Italian ryegrass N-mineralization and uptake with increasmg K fertilization were investigated. The N-mineralization and the mtnficatlon were promoted with increasing K fertilization. Because the K content of the plant was high enough to guarantee a healthy growth, the higher N uptake, ad especilly the mreased uptake of mineralized N from the + added organic matter, was attnbuted to the higher content of mmeral N m the sod and to a synergic interaction between K and NO3
