Description

A scheme of tropical pastures evalution that integrates experiment station and on-farm research, system monitoring, networking, and adoption studies is described. Examples of on-farm experiments and observations are presented. Selected results of physical and economic performance of introduced pastures as well as whole system productivity are shown. Implications for farmer adoption of tropical pasture species and for future research are discussed.
