Description

Chemical mutagenics may be applied for obtaining self-compatible fonns of white clover. Of the mutagenics under study, ethylenirnine at concentrations of 0.01 and 0.03 % proved most efficient. The high degree of self-compatibility is transmitted and increases in the following generation. The yield of self-compatible forms depends on the initial material chosen.
