Abstract

While many organizations invest in their leaders when onboarding them for their new role; oftentimes this process can be overlooked in the K-12 school setting when it comes to school administrators. As a result, this study focuses on analyzing the needs of new school administrators and how to better support them in their role when transitioning to a new district or from the classroom. This study utilizes Mixed-Methods Action Research methodology to assess and address the needs of new school administrators at Noblesville Schools, a K-12 public school district in Hamilton County, Indiana.
