Description
Dolly Johnson, from Lexington, KY, was the cook for President Benjamin Harrison. She had cooked for the Harrison family in Indiana, sometime prior to their move to the White House. She was summoned to the White House by President Harrison around 1889 to replace Madame Petronard, a French chef.
