Description
Dr. Towles led the surgical team at Parkview Memorial Hospital that saved the life of civil rights activist, Vernon E. Jordan, Jr., President of the Urban League. The hospital was located in Fort Wayne, IN. Vernon E. Jordan, Jr. had been shot by a sniper firing a 30.06 deer rifle.
