Ray Omar Shehan (August 19, 1898 - March 29, 1980) was born in Nelson County, Kentucky to Wallace Hamilton Shehan and Zora Alice Murphy. Shehan practiced law in Harlan after graduation. He also served as a special judge. Shehan married Euphemia Epperson in 1977.
