Leo Joseph Sandmann (March 5, 1892 - December 7, 1961) was born in Louisville, Kentucky to Charles J. Sandmann and Emma K. Heuback. Sandmann practiced law in Louisville for over 40 years. He worked primarily as a corporation and business lawyer. Sandmann married Julia Deboor in 1920. Their son, Charles Irvin Sandmann, graduated from the University of Kentucky College of Law in 1958.
