Ten Houses

Catherine A. Brereton, University of Kentucky

Catherine Brereton comes from Glossop, a small town in northern England, and is double-majoring in English and Gender/Women's Studies. She juggles a busy class schedule and her work as a writing tutor in UK's Writing Center with the demands of family life (she has two daughters), and when she manages to secure some free time, she picks up her knitting needles and knits. Catherine is passionate about LGBT issues and identity and hopes to incorporate this into her future plans to pursue an MA and PhD in British Literature.
