Description
Pangola grass (Digitaria decumbens) is one of two major forage grasses in Taiwan. Usually, top-dressing of fertilizer after clipping will not be performed under no irrigation until rain comes. Thus, the dressing practice in the regeneration period is occasionally delayed several weeks just for waiting rainfall. Whether the delay of top-dressing will affect forage yield and quality of pangola grass becomes an interesting question. In order to understand the effects of time and amount of topdressing on forage yield and quality of pangola grass, a 2-year field experiment was conducted.
