Description
For supplying large cattle populations with high-quality roughage it is necessary to make available big forage batches of good and largely uniform quality. From 4,675 hectares of seeded grassland, the ZBE Pflanzenproduktion Ferdinandshof(Ferdinandshofinter-farmestablishment for crop production) every year produce in good quality more than 80,000 tons of wilted silage. The material and technical basis of this forage production along industrial lines consists of powerful machine systems that are operated in multi-machine complexes, the operators doing shift work.
