Description
The development and the results of the Dedelow cooperative farm for crop production testify the successful agricultural policy pursued in the GDR. Intensification measures, such as mechanization, fertilization and irrigation, brought about a stable growth of production and form the basis for further economic success. At the same time it becomes obvious that cooperative farmers and farm workers have developed in a way that enabled them to master the processes prevailing in large-scale crop and animal productions from the technical as well as organizational points of view, even at a growing intensification of production.
