Description
Actual irrigation regimes of lucern, resulting from soil moisture measurements, were compared with irrigation regimes calculated from weather data using a computer. The results for ten years and four variants were evaluated in this way. A reasonable correlation was found between the actual and model regimes when using appropriate parameters. Based on these and previous results, a program was prepared which is used since 1974 in preparing weekly data sheets on irrigation requirements of lucern and other crops in l 8 places typical of the irrigation districts of southern Moravia.
