Description
The productivity of luceme/grass mixtures was investigated in field conditions at some experiment stations of the Instytut Uprawy Nawozenia i Gleboznawstwa over the years 1969 to 1975. The luceme/grass mixtures fertilized with high doses of nitrogen gave much higher yields than both luceme and grasses g:rown as pure crops. The yield of mixtures was found to depend mainly on the level of nitrogen application and on the management and fertilization of the cover crop.
