Description
On a natural grass stand with the dominance of Trisetum jlavescens L., the suitability of rotary implements was tested for the removal of smaller irregularities of the soil surface obstructing large-scale mechanization. It was found that it is possible by means of rotary implements in one operation to completely remove irregularities of the soil surface or to limit them to a minimum. The use of rotary implements for the rapid renovation helped to improve the botanical composition of the renovated stand and to increase production. The use of rotary implements for the removal of surface irregularities enables the regeneration of the species present. The seed demand is likely to be cut or even kept to zero.
