Interim Director: Dr. Merl Hackbart

Established in 1976, the Martin School of Public Policy and Administration remains known for its strengths: the excellence of our faculty, the curriculum that combines learning and practice, as students apply theories and ideas from the classroom to solve real-world problems during internships and capstone research projects; and our strong connection with scholars and opportunities in the local and national policy arena. We are committed to tackling real world challenges facing our cities and our nations, and are excited to continue our connections with local agencies such as the Save the Children Foundation and Council of State Governments, both with offices in Lexington, in order to provide real world, first-class learning experiences for our students.
