Leon N. Larson is the Regional Administrator for Region 4 of the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). He began his career with the Bureau of Public Roads (now FHWA) in June 1958 where he served in a variety of positions and places. In February 1983, he assumed his present position in Atlanta. He is responsible for administering the Federal-Aid Highway programs in eight states including Kentucky.
