John Douglas Moore, Jr. (April 12, 1897 - June 29, 1978) was born in Big Bone, Kentucky to John Douglas Moore, Sr. and Ida Johnson. Moore operated his father's general store after his father's death in 1926. He later worked as a bartender in the 1950s.
