Description
There are many accesses towards the evaluation and classification of grasslands. Ecological and physiognomic botanical principles were used in the inventory and classification of grasslands in Czechoslovakia (1967 - 1974). Inventory material from Carpathian regions (Motycka, 1975) is not now topical in consequence of the new integration of agricultural cooperatives. In spite of it we tried to use the inventory as well as the results of some long-term trials for practical classification and system of grassland management.
