Description
Ruoergai plateau is located at an altitude from 3,600 to 4,000 metres above sea level in the northeast part of the Tibet plateau. In mountains and hills on the plateau are distributed subalpine meadows and the community of Kobresia tibetica and weeds. In the river valley, wide valley and the depression around lake rim among hills is distributed continuous marsh grassland with the area of 300 thousands ha., which is the main pasture on the plateau and the largest marsh grassland of plateau-type in China.
