Description
A genus including crop species usually has annual and perennial species. Although life history is genetically controlled, it is not fully investigated how it is expressed (Nooden, 1980; Woolhouse, 1982). We examined the behaviours of annuals and perennials in the genera Avena, Hordeum, Lolium and Oryza.
