Description
For the most part new institutional repositories start out with little content. During this session, Pat Wilson will focus on the strategic partnerships she has made that are opening doors and leading to content in addition to faculty publications, theses, and dissertations. One of those partnerships produced a new journal, Kentucky Journal of Higher Education Policy and Practice. Wayne Lewis will speak to the "Editor's" perspective of why publish in an institutional repository, the perspective of the information creator and more. In addition there are endless possibilities of different types of scholarship that can be deposited in IR's--Pat will highlight examples of what other institutions have added to their collections.
