Slope Stability analyses were conducted through assimilation of LIS-based soil moisture estimates and site specific texture retrievals at 10 cm, 30 cm, 60 cm, and 100 cm. Texture retrievals herein were retrieved via Web Soil Survey (WSS) at resolutions of 100 - 300 meters. Texture data used for these stability analyses is available in the "Factor_of_Safety_Texture.gdb" file. Slope angles for these analyses is available in the "Terrain_Slope_in_Degrees" ArcGIS Layer file. As WSS was available at fine resolutions (~100 m), this enabled these analyses to be conducted at these resolutions as well. Therefore, these stability analyses were conducted at a spatial resolution of 0.001° (~100 m) over the domain discussed in the associated study. Due to size limitations, only the first 100 points, rather than the roughly 90,000 points, from this domain are included in the associated repository. All implemented formulae are described in the included excel sheets. Additionally, fitting parameters were required for estimation of matric suction through these analyses. These fitting parameters are a function of % Sand, % Silt, % Clay, and Bulk Density (all readily available through WSS). Once these were acquired, an online tool was utilized to retrieve these fitting parameters at all associated points of analysis. This tool is available at: https://www.handbook60.org/rosetta/. The version used was "Rosetta 1" and "Linear Parameters" were returned.
